BBF sponsors a variety of educational and enrichment programs that include children’s programming, special events, and other activities for adults and families. Money raised by BBF primarily supplement the Library’s materials and programming budgets. Examples on how funds are spent include:
Supporting the Summer Quest children’s program
Supporting Virtual Programs for children and adults
Supporting community events hosted by Burke Branch Library
Sponsoring Film Licensing Fees
Membership donations and monies raised by the BBF are used to help fund activities and purchase materials or programs not covered through the City budget. We always welcome new members!

Book Sales are our biggest fundraisers each year.
